Pre-birth: (<0 moons)
    Andromeda, despite her fancy name, was not a fancy cat. Perhaps she was one on the inside. But she had been born on the streets and lived there her entire life. And a street cat needed a tough name, so she went by Andy. As the sole survivor of her litter, she was a lone wolf. Her mother vanished one day when she was out hunting, and young Andy had to learn the hard way how to fend her herself in the small Alaskan town. It was a dangerous place, but it was her home. 

    She learned which places had the best food, from tips from kind cats. She learned what places to avoid, after stumbling across them and getting chased out. She even made a friend in an old housecat that lived in one of the dens on the outskirts of town. It was quiet there, and they would sometimes sneak her in for a bit of warmth on cold nights.

    There were rumors of groups of cats living out in the wilderness- they called themselves "clans" but Andromeda was not convinced
